Shrimping Season is Here...

Shrimping season officially opened at noon Friday, September 12th in South Carolina waters, and will remain open until Tuesday, Nov. 11. The entire season lasts just 60 days each year -- the cost for a resident license is $25 and non-residents licenses cost $500. The daily catch limit is 48 quarts whole or 29 quarts headed per boat or set of poles per day, and the limit is 10 poles per boat. This is the perfect time of year to enjoy Charleston by water, so what are you waiting for, grab your cast net and go!
